Aimed at changing the perception of today’s diesel trucks and sponsored by Bandimere Speedway, the 5th Annual ATS Diesels on the Mountain/Truck Fest will be held on July 21-22.
Featuring street legal diesel powered automobiles; this two day gathering is one of USA’s biggest diesel truck events. Coming from all over the country, the street legal diesel powered vehicles can run the quarter mile faster than most sports cars can do. This event is for individuals fond of diesel and racing.
Dustin Bentz’s Cummins Racing, an ATS diesel dragster, will once again be featured in the said event. Dustin was the first diesel racer to finish the quarter mile in just, believe this, seven seconds. Dustin’s dragster runs with Blue Sun Bio Diesel unlike the regular diesel fuel powered car. The Blue Sun Bio Diesel is a mixture of traditional fuels and vegetable oil giving the exhaust a pleasant smell. Ideally all exhaust like an Ansa exhaust should have a pleasant smell.
According to Scott Bentz, owner of the bio diesel race car, the ATS diesel dragster has proven that the Cummins “B” engine is reliable and can give nearly unlimited performance potential. He further said they are at present building a second car with a Common Rail Cummins ISB which is expected to go even faster, with less smoke, yet more power.
The event will not only feature the diesel dragster. Further features include street legal diesel powered cars competing in bracket format racing, special truck exhibitions, truck show, rock crawlers. Midway will be a vendor that features products for improved performance for both gas and diesel vehicles.
All truck owners are invited to join the said event. Being open to any type of truck from diesel big rigs and concrete haulers to compact gas powered trucks, all diesel vehicle owners can have the chance to compete.
Admission cost for two days is $26.00, while a participant will only pay half ($13.00) for a single day admission. Children with ages 12 years old and below will get free admission provided their chaperone adult will pay the aforementioned price. Discount coupons are available at ATS Diesel Performance.
In lieu with the forthcoming Diesels on the Mountain, ATS Diesel will sponsor an open house/dealer tech conference a day before the big event (July 20). The technical seminar is scheduled in the morning while the open house will start in the afternoon.
A manufacturer and installer of after-market performance auto products for light duty Ford, Dodge and General Motor diesel trucks, ATS Diesel Performance features products like turbo chargers, air intake and exhausts.
The growth and increase in popularity of online coupon sites over the past couple of years has been tremendous. The top coupon sites have seen increases in revenue and traffic of over 200% and many more coupon sites have popped up trying to get a piece of the pie. So with so many coupon sites available to the public, how do you choose the best one for you?
The coupon site that you use should be free. Almost all coupons available are available one way or another to the public, so don’t ever pay for a subscription to a coupon site. Also, since you should not pay for coupons, there is no need to give personal information out just to get coupons. You don’t need to even give an email address, unless you want to sign up to receive newsletters in your email inbox.
The promotional code site that you choose should also be easy to navigate and should list coupons by store and by category. Take http://gopromocodes.com for example. This site has an easy to find search bar at the top of the site, a complete category listing on the left side of the site and a tab where you can search all stores available. This is one of the easiest sites to navigate. Other sites that are easy to navigate are Retailmenot, and Coupon Mountain, although their categories are not listed alphabetically which makes the site a little more difficult to navigate.
Another important feature of a great coupon site, is the simplicity of the site. Something that goes hand in hand with simplicity is the absence of annoying ads. Many sites litter the pages with Google AdSense or banner ads hoping that the users will click the ads so the site makes some extra money, and sending the users on a wild goose chase. If you look at the individual store pages on GoPromocodes.com such as the 1800Flowers.com page you will notice there are no banner ads or google adsense. Most other sites do include ads here such as RetailmeNot pages and CouponCabin.com.
When choosing the coupon site to fit your need, it is best to take into account these aspects, as well as the physical look of the site and personal preferences. All sites mentioned in this article are top notch sites and I recommend all of them to find the best savings for you.
If you happen to have a dog and wish to share your vacations with your pets in tow, then you may often encounter a whole host of problems. There is the fear that in a hotel there is the possibility of disturbing those who are renting rooms above, below, and beside you, should the dog bark or make other noises. Other difficulties include things like finding an appropriate spot where you could take the dog to relieve itself, and whether or not the dog can be kept in the room (if so, does it need to be in an approved carrier) or only in a kennel that the hotel maintains. Confining the animal to a kennel presents its own problems because the standard of sanitation may not be up to yours, and you might well be limited in the hours that you can visit your pet, as well as being limited to the area for the areas where these visits are allowed to take place.
If, like most pet owners, you consider your four-footed companion as part of your family, the above description is not something you would want to subject anyone to…even a dreaded in-law! If you’ve experienced this kind of problem in the past, undoubtedly you’ve experienced some very anxious times regarding your pet’s happiness and health, and could even be wondering if it was worth it at all to travel with your pet away from home. Fortunately, you can put an end to this sort of worry if you choose to travel with the dog. Believe it or not, it is possible to take a vacation to a spot where you would not have to worry about disturbing other hotel patrons, lodging your animal, or taking care of any of the myriad of other little problems that traveling with a pet involves.
One of the best places you can choose for a vacation that will include your dog is to explore the possibility of taking a vacation in the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the area known as the Great Smoky Mountains. Both of these towns offer cabins for rent that are capable of supporting any number of lodgers (including one or two you can take up to 50 people), and are also pet friendly. These pet friendly cabins offer a certain amount of isolation if they are located a good distance away from other cabins that are nearby. There is also plenty of room to walk and play with your dog, as well as room to allow the animal to relieve itself. There are several cabin rental companies in these towns that are dog friendly, and for a small pet deposit will allow you to keep your dog with you. If at the end of your stay, your dog has created no damage, the deposit is often refundable.
This area of the Smoky Mountains offers spectacular natural views and plenty of trails and areas to walk or take hikes with your dog. Other attractions located in the area that you are sure to enjoy include Dollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium, and the ability to buy local handicrafts made by the local inhabitants of Smoky Mountains. From time to time festivals celebrating local crafts and mountain music are held for the visitors. There are so many things to see and do, which makes the Great Smoky Mountains an ideal destination to take your pet on your next vacation.
